This week is about UGLY. Two of my ugliest knives: Kizer Horn in N690 and SRM 9202-GW (imaginative naming there) in D2. Both are imperfect beasts (tricky liner lock on the Kizer and a bronze and teflon washer pairing on the SRM pivot) but with a little maintenance and love they work just fine. I especially like the Wharncliffe on the Kizer. One of my favorite blades among my small collection. But that Micarta is plug ugly LOL.

I really couldnāt be any happier then I am right now!!!!! I laughed so hard I woke up my wife and dogsā¦A small 31; my āDedicated Travel Knifeāā¦.or āDTKā for short.
And hold the phone. Did I just coin a new term?!?? I think I did. I think āDTKā is a brand new, 100% original acronym being put into play for the first time ever right here, right nowā¦.on page 5217 of this threadā¦by yours truly, Z Zeroedin
Holy crap! This is huge!
I can see it now; the term will take the knife world by storm. Heck, the concept itself will probably reshape the landscape of the knife industry. āDTKā will soon be as common as āEDCāā¦..and makers will be racing to bring āDedicated Travel Knivesā to market.
This, my friends, shall be my legacyā¦.my gift to the knife world, my contribution to the industry.
Or maybe, just maybeā¦..this is a prime example of why one shouldnāt be posting on a ālitā Friday night.
