My buddy came by and we replaced the eight 5/4x6 PT boards in my neighbors' deck today. It was a huge PIA as the old ones had 3 16D nails in each joist connection (overkill much?) and the spacing was such that all the new material had to be ripped to fit, the edges re-radiused, and of course cut to length. It was kinda weird doing all the cutting and routing in my woodshop, then loading the material and some gear into the truck to drive it a couple hundred feet and across the street. It all came out fine but it ended up taking 3/4 of a day.
Anyway, I got to work with a couple old friends today, the second being the large CF Sebenza. It seems odd that the knife qualifies for Throwback Thursday on two counts, as it's both a 21 and KnifeArt and CRK no longer collaborate on these great Ti/CF hybrids.

Blade 100 mm, VANAX 37 steel, Scandinavian descents. Handles 123 mm, black G-10. Titanium clip. Made 20 pieces by a master from Moscow. Also, 20 pieces were produced with an anodized aluminum handle. If you find it on sale, I strongly do NOT recommend buying it.Beautiful dog, and can I ask for details on that knife?
Russia is very big and very different. However, so is the USA. There are forests and deserts, there are places where the snow never melts to the end, even in summer. There are modern megacities, and there are ancient, still wooden cities. There are steppes where you can drive a car all day and not meet anyone except birds. And all this time you have no connection, no Internet, not even gas stations. I've seen it myself. There are national republics(states) where the majority of the population does not even speak Russian. There are places where they will find out about a change of government or a war in a year or two or three... I'm not exaggerating.I've always wanted to go to Russia.
When I noticed your camping and outdoor photos I would not have guessed Russia. I saw St. Petersburg and instantly thought Florida based on the photos.Russia is very big and very different. Not sure that’s a good decision right now my FriendI've always wanted to go to Russia.
I hope I'm not the only one who flips his Malibu like it's a fidget toy![]()
Well, if its action wasn’t so darn slick, I wouldn’t fidget with it so much! It drops like a guillotine!
