Its a Divo Knives Growler. Good geometry and action, good ergos for a flat scaled handle, and the micarta feels nice. The stonewashed blade finish looks good also. Wish it had a wire clip like the Mash (which is great too) but it works fine. Overall I would recommend it and believe its a wmk exclusive.

I mean, just looking at that pic makes me pucker-clench so hard my toes curled up. No way I’d be able to stage that shot.

Having said that, it’s one heck of a picture. Stopped me dead in my tracks and caused me to study all the textures, lines, details and depth. Granted, I know nothing about photography…..but I know what I like, and I absolutely love that photo.

I’m also really diggin’ the piece of wood. Is that just a natural setting there….something you stumbled upon?

A beautiful knife. A few years ago this was my favorite knife. Same 810 Contego, black, steel M4. Once I had to cut many, many strips from a conveyor belt. Fabric + rubber. When the calluses came off, I sold it without regret.

Dual-wielding for Fixed Blade Friday!

Honestly, I was on the road and wanted to try something a little different from my usual fixed/folder combo in anti-gun territory. Two smaller belt knives was interesting and these little guys from Outdoor Edge carry very well. The sheath design is interesting, with active retention and readily rotatable clip. The only thing I don't love is the 8Cr13Mov and rubber-like handle material. If I could get these in 14C28N or 9Cr18Mov with Micarta or G10, I'd be a happy camper.
