New Hybrid Camrys get 55 mpg!

So did my 1983 Mazda GLC, so...

I don't ever believe the figures. I found out EPA highway mileage is based on 45mph.

Here in northern Illinois, I get ~40mpg in my Tucson Hybrid when the temp is above 50° but as soon as it gets cold and I need to use the heat it drops to 32-33. Same when it's hot enough to use the air conditioning. However, I rarely use the air conditioning. I bought my hybrid not for the gas mileage but the 47 extra hp over the standard.

My 55mpg above was driving 55mph from college back home on weekends or holidays (from Texas A&M back to SW Houston). I traded in a dirt bike during a "$1000 trade-in push pull or drag" event, and bought it new.

Thanks my friend they did a really good job. If it did have factory tint it was very very light tint from the factory . Most SUV’s normally come with 20% rear sides and back window only.

4 days left out of 10 and man it goes fast but I knew that going in . But I do have another 10 day in July so that helps lol.

Understand. Here in Michigan front windows are not allowed any tint while others in vehicle can be damn near jet black. The tint does add to the good looks of the car.

Carbon Fiber Friday. Gifting my old ZT 0770CF in Elmax to my soon to-be BIL. It will be his first taste at high end knives. It served me well and will continue its service in a new home starting tomorrow. I put a new edge on it yesterday with the help of my Wicked Edge and I’m looking forward to seeing it be used again

Unfortunately no.

This is Manly knives, "Classic" model. Only one blade. It has a very interesting lock.
