It certainly does keep the inside cooler and protects the interior. I also understand why law enforcement is opposed to the tint. The tint and trim really set the car apart from others.

Every time I see a Milwaukee Box cutter I remember the time I bought a ZT 0562. Someone at the Warehouse put there old Beat up Milwaukee box cutter in the box and stole the ZT
The Dealer sent me a new one over night shipping but it was such a surprise when I opened the box although I had a hunch there was a problem since the box was so light
