I figured on making this a Micarta Monday, and after responding to
brancron
's post of his very sweet Mel Pardue I grabbed my 551SBK work user with it's OD canvas Igorded scales as I was headed to the woodshop to cut, fit, and glue up the handrail returns. I stopped in the woodshed for pics on the way over.
I had also mentioned in my response to B's posting that I'd noticed a degree of shared design language between some of Pardue's custom work that I'd just searched and the vintage Al Mar's that I've been favoring lately. That got my Micarta Falcon Talon off my desk and into my pocket in its sleeve to carry along as well. I tried to get some pics in the woodshop, but the LED lighting there and a highly reflective knife were not a good match, so I stopped by the woodshed again on the way back to the house.

I consider the Demko more of a pal than a buddy. And honesty, it’s not that great carrying around a 90 pound golden…
