I've always had a soft spot for the Tenacious, as my combo-edge in that model was my gateway knife into Spyderco. The price on these has gone up a bit over the years, but I still think of them as 40 dollar knives and a lotta bang for the buck in that price range (or inflated higher). The F&F is excellently clean with skeletonized SS liners, open back construction, and a nice EDC feel in hand. Yeah, 8Cr13MoV is meh at best, though one can get a decent edge on it, and I'd rather they were made somewhere else, but I've managed to accumulate a half-dozen over the years and some of them do get pocket time. That first one used to do a lot of duty as a work beater, often as a second carry. This red, checked G10 version is one of two I bought, gifting the other to my work buddy. It's photographing almost purple but it's a bit more bleached raspberry in hand and is wearing a new tail I tied up today after performing some much needed maintenance. Here it is in the work trailer this afternoon...

..then over in the chunk/waste heap by the splitter...

...and showing off it's open spine and new tail, with a shout-out to
