Become a Deputy Sheriff, Search and Rescue or Firefighter. Then you may own and carry any auto you wish! I’m too old to go back on Active Duty but active military are also exempt. We have discussed it and the cows still won’t come home. It’s the only CA knife law I have issues with.

Become a Deputy Sheriff, Search and Rescue or Firefighter. Then you may own and carry any auto you wish! I’m too old to go back on Active Duty but active military are also exempt. We have discussed it and the cows still won’t come home. It’s the only CA knife law I have issues with.

Here in NYS you can carry an auto if you hold a hunting, fishing or trapping license, and are actively hunting, fishing or trapping. At least that's generally true in Upstate NY. Manhattan and the boroughs have stricter laws.

That's why I'm always doing all of those even at work........Sometimes I try to carry a double action when I'm in and out of Manhattan but more often than not I don't subscribe to the rules for thee and not for me!!!!!
I carry 3 knives daily so I'm not pulling out the quick stick in front of all the Karens!!!
