EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

They are perfectly legal in my state but illegal in my city. In the midddle of town there used to be a large state owned fair grounds, they would have knife shows and such there in the off season. During the knife shows you could walk up and but an auto no worries, the problem came taking it off the state owned property into city limits. Several people were arrested every year for having an auto in the city. Turns out the local PD would put undercover officers in the show waiting for someone to by then follow them into city limits when they left the show……

Friggin douchenozzles! NYPD use to have undercover at the fireworks places in PA and radio the plate.of NYers back to more douchenozzles waiting at the Staten Island bridges and Manhattan tunnels and GWB!!!!
That was all nanny. Bloomberg s work......Hasn't happened since he's left office!! Good riddance..
Peregrin Peregrin shoot me a PM if you want me to get you something and we can.figure out the rest....

From the shop of one of our great local craftsman Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery I'm trying out a new carry option for the 21.

That knife calls out to me! What a wicked looking thing! I love it!
The Italian artistry is so very apparent in the design.
Called out to me as well!
I like big knives and this one with a 4.1" blade fits the bill, but I don't like thick handles. This one is only .44" thick! Crazy for a 9" plus knife.
Only issue is the clip is low profile to keep with the aesthetic of the knife so it doesn't want to clip over my blue jeans easily, takes a second. But the reality is I'm not all that concerned with putting it in my pocket, just getting it out.😉
And I got a pretty good deal on it from that shop in Finland...👍

As y'all have likely noticed, I've been on kind of an Old School kick lately. Inspired by M maxjeg 's post yesterday, I got out my BMK Elishewitz Dark Star and stuck it in my pocket for a day of bill paying, small household chores (including cleaning up my tall knife cabinet), and running errands. Along with its little brother mini-Dark Star, this one doesn't get much carry and I flirt from time to time with selling them, but whenever I'm tempted, just handling them makes that urge fade. This larger one came to me in not the best condition with a godawful "sharpening" job and a bit of lock flex, but with some time on the diamonds, a re-centering, and a little tune-up, it's in very decent and usable condition. Its ATS34 blade has taken a very keen edge.

Kindly excuse the tape gunk on the blade as it handled opening today's thoroughly sealed mail call earlier.

...and speaking of mail call and Old School, here's what arrived today, though maybe it's more Middle School, as it's from the mid- to late-Fadden era of well-made Seki City knives, but definitely precedes the unfortunate New School era that us Al Mar aficionados presently find ourselves in.

Tell me that Camillus is a Simonich design.

Throwback Thursday.

Here’s a few that I haven’t carried in a loooong time! I do have somewhere (or at least had, but haven’t seen it in a few years) a Camillus Cuda Mini Talon in Talonite. A neck knife that paired well with the full size. These knives bring back a lot of memories.

Had to throw my David Mary Wharnificent in my change pocket for its maiden voyage today lol, since I just got it and have wanted this model of his for a while.
