The turtles come to our yard every year to lay their eggs. There is sand under our grass and they know that. In fact as I type this, a turtle is digging her hole not even 10 feet in front of me.
I was quick with the photo, as I don’t like to interrupt them and cause anxiety. The painted in my photo was on her way back to the pond, so I didn’t interfere for long.
I’ll have to try to get a photo when the big ol’ snappers come up to lay. That is intense.
Correct! His work is pretty crude for the most part, but that is half the charm. This one functions well, and was worth the scratch in my opinion.
His work always shows up well oiled and sharp!
