Just flipped the clip on this Beautiful Hinderer Eklipse Magnacut DLT exclusive so I guess it’s mine now lol. I have a natural textured Micarta scale ready to go but I’m kinda liking this black G10 and might run it for a while . Will see how long I can last 😆
Lion Steel Barlow along for the ride 👍🏻👊🏻

Fixie Wednesday, guess it doesn’t always have to rhyme or start with the same letters haha 😂

AZ heat wave has been brutal on a few of my chili plants! Weird because they came from a Tucson nursery where it’s even hotter there.

Yellow squash is coming in and got my first Caribbean red so far.

Nice trio😎
Chillis yum.
From someone else that lives in hot climate(Australia). I like to use a watering can on them, in the morning. Very hot days an extra drink of an evening. Mine seem to like seasol( sea weed ectract).
Good eating mate😊

I mostly carried and used the RHK Sheepsfoot Skinny yesterday, finishing off my lighting project in our building next door while picturing both it and my 806-1101 for a red, white, blue Independence Day theme here. The AFCK did get plenty of fondling after and today got solo carry for a trip up Cape for our monthly bulk shopping with use afterwards opening packaging and cutting down boxes. This 14-year-old knife came to me not long ago BNIB, still wears its wicked sharp, toothy factory BMK edge, is nicely TBE at 0.4 mm, and just flies through cardboard despite being a 50/50 flat saber grind.

I absolutely love the blade shape and how the forward swedge helps bring it to a super fine piercing point while still maintaining sufficient thickness in the primary bevel through the belly for strength at the tip.

It's definitely a big knife at all but 4" with plenty of handle to hang onto, but the weight's not bad at 5.125 oz despite its steel liners, helped by open back construction and fairly extensive skeletonizing.

This is the AFCK I always wanted to go with my 800 ATS34, 806BK D2, and 440C TSEK and, despite all the high-end and other knives I've acquired and like, has quickly risen to at least top-ten status and would likely be a strong candidate for that "if you could keep only one..." thing.

My automatic timer, waters them twice a day (I’m away from the house 14+ hours on work days). On hot days, I supplement with extra water with a water can once or twice a day. Think it just got too hot too fast (direct sun from sun up to about 4pm) and took a toll going from 95* to 106* overnight.

Once the monsoons hit, they’ll really take off and blow up.

I’ll check into the seasoil though.

Thank you!
