It’s the west slope of Glacier NP. I don’t live far, but don’t get in often. It’s hard to get permits & such, even for locals.

Mini Monday with a gorgeous little Mammoth "Pinched Peanut" from A.G.Russell Knives, these are probably some of the finest Peanut pattern traditionals on the planet...really excellent pieces.

Monrepos park.

The history of the park is not as ancient as the city itself. It begins in 1788, when Baron Ludwig Nicolai, President of the Imperial Academy of Sciences, acquires this land.

The entrance to the park is stylized as the entrance to a Gothic temple.

Nicolai is building a residential building designed by the Italian designer Giuseppe Antonio Martinelli, and the Library Wing is being built in the ensemble with the house.

Equipped with a spring with drinking water. Coastal islands are connected by bridges.

In addition to the island with the tomb of the Nicolai family.

In the rocks, along the coast, there are various monuments and temples.

Temple of Neptune.

Monument to the author of Kalevala.

The forest part of the park is equipped with recreational areas and viewing platforms.

On the way home, we stocked up on traditional Vyborg edible sovereigns - pretzels!

It does look great. This might be knife heresy, but I could definitely see one of those in my pocket over the Case.

I actually have the E10-10 on the way with Ironwood inlay. Super excited.
