EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This week's gonna be a scorcher so I have put the 15V away in favor of MagnaCut.

Looks great!
Did you do those mods yourself or did ya send it off? I'd like different thumbstuds and a lanyard delete on my Sebenza (silly thing rattles without a lanyard attached).

My two today-

Traffic from the office (a National Forest) was a nightmare this evening. Total gridlock man!

I did em, I feel like a child but I LOVE the glow in the dark lanyard spacer/tube. Oh and it's easy to stop the rattle, a tiny thin bit of clear nail polish on the end of the lanyard spacer while you have the knife apart and no more rattle.

Nice micarta you got!

Back into the home gym this morning, so back into light shorts, and back into the Sage box, this time for the homage to Michael Walker's liner lock and the first of the series.

That second floor above the woodshop, is definitely a multi-use space. Besides the gym equipment it serves as "World Headquarters" for my local youth basketball club and our league, as this sad, partially deflated ball will attest...

...as well as general storage for the flotsam and jetsam of three generations of our family with odd stuff from our two off-Cape sons (CA & RI), still a few things remaining from our departed parents, and odds and ends belonging to my wife and I, like a radiant propane shop heater sitting in a salvaged sink and vanity that might someday be put to use in our Vermont camp.

It takes 7-8 minutes to get to the beach from our house and we’re back in a routine of only going when family is visiting. It’s been over a year since my toes last touched the sand. It’s amazing (and a bit sad) how life tends to get in the way of the simple pleasures.

Anyway, our granddaughters wanted to go for sunset. Unfortunately, sunset was all but cancelled due to excessive cloud cover on the horizon. I asked the Park Ranger to rewind and start over without the clouds.

He was a good sport. His response?

“Sorry, Bob forgot to put new batteries in the remote tonight. Nothing we can do until tomorrow.”

Apparently they don’t validate to have your car washed and vacuumed either!?!

Admittedly, I might’ve been pushing it with that one.

Lol, Arno Bernard Gecko in green mammoth for a not-so-spectacular sunset…

I’ve always loved the Arno knives. I just went to the web site and it looks like they’re only doing folders now.
