This arrived yesterday from a newer maker on the forums. He’s just 24 years old but his work is far beyond his age. if you’re in traditionals this is a maker you should watch. . . I’m sure there will be more to come from this nice young man.

I'm waiting on a custom order from him now! Definitely check out hit website, too. Other awesome examples there.

It's been ages since I posted! These three have been my constant companions for the summer, with one or two on me and the third near at hand every day. :)

I've gotten to be such a particular little fusspot about my knives that the arrival of the Matriarch was a real breath of fresh air. Plastic scales, festooned with clip holes, "average" steel, not made in the USA...it ticks, like, none of my boxes. 🤣 But it's a fantastic tool, a perfect weight for easy carry, and I've always been a fan of Spyderco's bi-directional texturing. I like it so much that it's reinvigorated my interest in less expensive knives.

This one is coming up on about 15 years old I think. It’s been a hell of a good one. Yes, the south has been brutal this summer. Living in a beach town you can tell who’s a resident and who’s on vacation. The vacationers are the only one’s outside before sundown.
Yes agreed…I’m from the FL panhandle and we used to look forward to Winter so we could get our beaches and roads back…LOL. But now, tourism is a 365 days a year monster down there so that’s no longer valid.
