No it’s an old limited run 1990s auto…Benchmade full size Reflex. Still putting it to good useIs that an Ocaso? My local retailer just started carrying them and that name is brand new to me. What do you think of it so far?
You know I love mine too, Mitch. For me it's too good a work knife not to carry and use, plus its stonewashed finish carries that wear well. Its approximately 1/8" CTS-XHP blade stock is not particularly thin behind the edge, but a re-profile has given its slightly re-curved blade a significant boost in cutting ability. I'm so pleased with the results of its latest cleaning and tune-up earlier this week that I'm pretty much getting it out every day now just for a few smile-inducing flips. What better day than a Sunday to carry a grail of mine! It’s in absolute mint condition so no hard use for this baby. Still searching for its cousin, the WC Talos!
Beautiful, glad to hear you’re using it. It surely deserves it. For me it was just so hard to find and I happened to find one that was a safe queen that stayed in mint condition through all these years that I feel obligated to keep it in great condition. I don’t carry it much out of the house. But don’t get me wrong, if it’s in the pocket and something needs to be cut well…You know I love mine too, Mitch. Might as well post a couple pics I used on another forum while I'm here....
