The boy not operating today?
He did a little, wanted to be in the mud more. Had a water leak at my dads houseThe boy not operating today?
I saw that, you get it fixed? He did a little, wanted to be in the mud more. Had a water leak at my dads house
Haha. Yea we got it. I had a leak in my basement a little while back, went to the main shut off on the wall to turn it off and the handle broke off on the ball valve. Water shot out like coming out of a fire hydrant. Made a beeline to the well house to shut it off. Wasn’t a very good night
What is this?
Love the matching lanyards. You make these yourself?Easy like Sunday morning carry until I find the need to swap to something else

Luckily all good now. Good thing because Mon morning means the daily pull/push-ups must begin anew. And yes it did help indeed, I find like many things in moderation it can work wondersTweaking the neck and shoulder is not good. Hope that wonderful looking Carmel colored liquid helped take the edge off.
Thanks! And I'm not sure that anyone has. But to be honest I'm not sure if anyone ever beat Bach in the first placeA lot of color popping!
Hard to beat Coltrane!
It's hard to believe that I started out in the hobby only liking black knives. On the bright side (Talk about rich, saturated colors!![]()
I must admit 've never been accused of blending in, even wearing camoGood song reference there! Man your pics always lack in colors and detail….joke![]()
Many thanks! Yea, I do them. Nothing special honestly, especially compared to some of the work in the lanyard thread here. Mine are mostly snake knots with the occasional diamond knot thrown in when I'm feeling up to it. If you dig them I fully encourage you to jump in feet first and give it a goLove the matching lanyards. You make these yourself?
Mushroom identification is a skill a lot more of us should learn. I've lived almost my entire life in the rainforest and I'm still at the "every mushroom is edible once" stage of mushroom identification.Highlight of the day for me, harvesting some Cauliflower Mushrooms to make some soup tonight. Was carrying a Matt Bailey fixed blade today. Cool knife. The handle is beautiful and very big. Fits my hand well, but does require that you hold it a certain way.
It did a fine job harvesting the large mushroom though.

Got them cleaned up and bagged them for later.

Started a bone broth with some marrow bones out of the freezer.

Then caramelized some Vidalia onions, cut up the mushrooms and sautéed them with the onions for a few minutes. Added the bone broth once it was ready and let it cook together for a while. Turned out very good. Doesn’t look great, but it does taste good. These mushrooms are interesting since they don’t get mushy cooking like this. They hold their texture, almost like a good egg noodle in the broth.

This Matt Bailey knife is awesome. Very sharp and awesome looking wood for the grips. Couple close up shots of the grips:
