EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

My new Marksman, I'm a huge fan of this lock mechanism. Very neat.

How's the Maverick? On paper it's fantastic
It really is incredible.
Heard about the early ones having some issues.
Got mine bout 2 months ago from Indiana Knives and it’s just about perfect……..perfectly centered, action stupid smooth & screaming sharp.
Let me know if you’d like to check it out, I’ll send it to you.

I keep a C harp in my day bag. I have some nicer ones in my music room. But the daily carry is a Marine Band
I have several harps in C, among them my new Hohner Rocket. I played over 50 yrs ago, stopped completely, and am now relearning. I'm 73. The guy whose records I learned with was Paul Butterfield. Never got that good, though.

My recent acquisition and very first Sebenza. 2016 model Large 21 in preowned condition from one of our very own members. For a large folder it is surprisingly easy to carry in the pocket. No wonder why my knife guru Bob Dozier, when asked by a visitor to his workshop, what he had in his own pocket replied "a large Sebenza."<a href=" ">

That would be a Sebenza 25 not a 21. You got an even better deal! The 25 is my favorite sebenza

Honestly, if you want a modern designed knife, this one is hard to beat for the money! Love it. That's 154CM steel right?

I would only want a lanyard hole added.... everything else is perfect

Yessir, it is. On the lock mechanism, one thing that I've really come to enjoy in recent years is something that DCA (of Knifecenter, and an all around excellent human being) speaks to as being some of his favorite locking mechanisms; namely a those that keep your fingers out of the path of the closing blade. I will always love the Triad lock, framelocks, liner locks, etc, but I've really come around to locks like the crossbar lock, button locks, Demko's Scorpion and Shark locks, and others in this same vein. This backstrap lock is fantastic, once I got the hang of it. My fingers stay out of the way, and it's super fast to close. I just want to be able to quickly open the knife, cut what needs cutting, close the knife, and immediately back in the pocket as needed. Depending on the knife, I can do this in a really fast single motion, so that way no one around starts asking questions, or freaks out. Out, cut, in. Just the world we live in and the environments most folks find themselves in these days.

Well said, I'm going to see what the current price is right now LOL... you sold me

I got the knife from seller who had other knives to sell and other items to fund an very expensive watch buy. I reached out to him just now after reading your post. I assume now he may have mistakenly sent me the wrong knife he wanted to sell. Thank you very much. Don't want to incur any more bad karma.

Today it’s the new Swisstech picked it up this morning. So far can’t complain especially at the price. New line of knives at the local Walmart. $30 is cheaper than most my flippers. But definitely holds its own. Especially working flatbed delivery at Lowe’s.

I’m curious about their fixed blade to be honest. 🤔
