Hey aren’t You late for a class withMaybe the real question should be, how many hours have you spent enjoying the company of your friends![]()
Yeah , the ergos are among the best I’ve ever experienced. I have yet to try out a light weight version (although I’d like to). But the G10 variant has been a favorite of mine for years.Man I luv the Manix 2 in all verions. But really enjoy the lightweight FRCP scaled spy27 model. Oh, I think that's a lesson he won't soon forget. And if he does, he sure won't mention it here!
Be safe my friend. And thanks for the encouragement!I must confess that I didn't actually carry the Boomascus 31 today, except for briefly in its slip, as I really just got it out to torment our friendKettleman , and that just in fun. (Note to K-man: you did mention a Dama PJ as your final CRK, so perhaps there's some hope for that, as around here referring to one's last knife just means the most recent purchase.)
Anyway, most of today was spent battening down the hatches and stowing outdoor things away in the face of the passage of Hurricane Lee. It won't hit us directly, its eye blowing by some hundreds of miles out to sea, but we'll still get a bunch of rain and wind gusts up in the 50's. For that task, a hard use work knife that I'm not afraid to bang up was more appropriate and my ZT 0801BW fit that bill well, though a CRK is certainly stout enough to take anything you throw at it. My visiting middle son gave me a hand cleating down some temp cover on the last unfinished part of the roof and I'm glad to be back down now and comfortably ensconced in the house.
