I pulled out the ol' ZT 801 today. This is one of the knives that's very special to me. I was given this by Thomas W. of ZT/Kershaw/Kai, it is a prototype from when they were first testing this model out before production. I know Thomas W. was a kind of controversial figure on here back in the day, but he was cool as hell to me in person. He'd bring me into his office and show me his collection spanning all the way through Kershaw and ZTs history, some very cool knives. Basically every Kai branded knife that you can ever think of. He loaded me up with some incredible knives.

Thanks! Although these are the only knives I have in it, I'd say it ranks up there among my favorite materials. So much character.

An update to my earlier post from today - after being informed that I wasn't eating the apples from the orchard trip the other week fast enough, I also have a Viper Swayback in my pocket.

Usually I leave the kitchen work to the kitchen tools but the Swayback got in on some peeling and paring, prepping for applesauce.
