Today started as just another Manix Monday. Last night I had disassembled my Biryukov #12 as my new #7 came with the proprietary bit. Well of course I lose one of the washers that sits between the bearings and the handle. Looked everywhere, swept the workshop floor with a magnet, nothing. Went to bed pissed. I had cleaned the black nasty off of most of the parts. Came home today to look one more time. I found it. It was stuck to the other side of the blade, still had a little black goonon it. Cleaned, lubed the pivot and bearings, reassembled, and now carrying it.

Pain in the ass to dis/reassembled. Proprietary screw, three T6's, and an IP8 hex for the pivot. However, to tell you how great the tolerances are, it is perfectly centered without fiddling with the pivot at all. Tighten and it's a light shake shut.
