Thank you Friend. Maybe, just maybe, I’m not too old to learnThanks, my friend. Your earlier avoidance of argument for argument's sake is duly noted in this fun and cordial thread. Niceness is its own reward....
I meant to reply the other day, but got sidetracked. Thanks for the compliment on my REK XM24, OM. While they have very different blades I can certainly see a lot of similarity handle-wise between your Emerson and my XM.ChazzyP, that is one of my all time favorite knives on this forum. Congrats brother and don't ever let it go (unless it is to me).
Made me reach for this old Nath/Emerson today. She definitely needs a similar regrind - I'd love to get Josh to give it the same love as your 24. Ernie really should make a HD-Horseman like this one, it is SUCH a great size and form factor.

My hideous full convexed thinned Benchmade 200. Looks awful works great.
How old is the Glock? Looks like it has seen a lot of carry time.
Is the Old Timer a reground 6OT?Today, all wood + tool steel, just for fun on my leisure day, Maple and Ironwood. Cruwear, M4 and D2.

Day before I carried knives with bolsters, mannnn I want that Spyderco with a similar curve and bolster to the Espada... the Valloton I think? Any good recs for folders with sweet dual bolsters? The Old Timer is a work in progress, from the 90s, found in an old box with a snapped tip and reground it on sandpaper to kind of a sheepsfoot - it is sort of like a 112 with a large handle.
