EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I guess this is where you come to say hello to BF … so, Hello, BF.

I narrowed my search down to Kershaw, because even though they don’t show up on very many best knives lists, they get all great reviews by themselves. Long story short (is it already too late for that?), I decided on the Kershaw Blur S30V. I kinda preferred one of their pullback flipper blade styles, but the Blur is the most reasonably priced model (that I could find) with a higher quality steel that has the best mix of edge retention, toughness and sharpening ease. The thumb stud with assist looks easy enough to open with one hand, which should be close enough. And I just like how it looks. So I ordered one yesterday, it’s coming tomorrow.

In the saddle.

I got back on my exercise regimen today and stuck my HAP40/SUS410 Endura IWB for my late morning laps on this Wooden Wednesday. After an afternoon working on youth b-ball admin I got out late in the day for some knife pics but had to take an awful lot as the reflectivity of the blade and spine make this one a tough snap, especially when trying to capture the laminate line while avoiding glare and getting the wood to show up nicely at the same time.

The first time I really sat up and took notice of of this Knifecenter exclusive series of these Spyderco models was back in the day when our friend @abbazaba posted a pic of the spines of his Endura and Delica when those were the only two available. There was just something about the polished layers of stainless with the liners surrounding the lock spring and backspacer, contrasting against the wooden scales, that really appealed to me and soon led to a purchase of that pair.

I'm at three of these now, including the Police and have been tempted several times to try the Endela in this same exclusive version. I know there's at least 5 models of these now, including the Ladybug, as I've seen abbazaba's nicely fanned out pic of his collection. As I was digging around through older posts of these, I'll re-post a triple spine shot from some years back.
