EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I did But the rat bas..ds didnt have any YooHoo , had to have a plain ole chocolate milk.
Well, it ain’t YooHoo, but it ain’t the worst thing in the world, either. I’ve been on a chocolate milk kick lately myself. Which is funny, because as a kid growing up in Rhode Island, I wouldn’t touch the stuff - it had to be coffee milk.

Really? Never seen that before.

Every time I see our friend M maxjeg post a pic of his BMK DarkStar I think I really ought to give mine a spin in pocket. Today I was casting about for an appropriate Throwback Thursday carry as I had finished printing some 300+ youth basketball flyers and was going to be in and out 4 elementary schools delivering them for distribution to classrooms of grade-eligible players. I have this 880 and little brother 885 both in plain-edge, and, while they're not really within my normal realm of carry, this one seemed plenty discreet enough to bring along. It's light and quite deep-carry, especially for being tip down, and, as such, without a lanyard despite it's interesting attachment pin and recess within the g10 backspacer as it makes little sense to have one in the bottom of my pocket.

This one was not in the best shape when I got it from the Big Auction Site, but a substantial re-profile on the EdgePro fixed the terrible "sharpening" job on the dagger-ground ATS34 blade, a little scale-shifting corrected the centering, and a good cleaning in and out improved the action and put a little sparkle back in the nicely milled G10 scales and lightly anodized Ti liners. There's just the tiniest bit of lock-flex in this larger one due to the rather light liner-lock, but it's in no danger of slipping and is solid enough for EDC use.

I've pondered moving this knife and its smaller mate as they're more here as part of the "collection" rather than rotation pieces, but every time I handle or occasionally carry them I smile a little and put them back in the drawer.

NKD - Kunwu Tao II in Vanax and Ti on a dog walk. Nice back flipper and front flipper, clip works great for day in and out of pocket, and very sharp when dropping shut on a finger.

Also had my small Sebenza 31 with me today. Just a PJ in S45VN with 14 degree father and son traditional sharpening edge. Tuned with lapped washers and Slick'em All lubricant from OCD-4-EDC, so it reverse flicks open fast unlike most CRK.
