I finally got back to my cardio laps today, as I've allowed myself to get largely off track with all the basketball admin and tasks home and away I've been up to. While I was tempted to slip the same slim, smooth, and light Cheburkov DamaScout IWB again, I went slimmer, smoother, and lighter with the Al Mar Eagle UltraLight.

Like some of the Spyderco folders, the finger groove on their whole-number releases controls hand position. The Guardian 3 is not comfortable for me. However, the more neutral 3.5 with 3D scales is very comfortable in my hand.

Guardian 3 too small in the hand? I wondered about the overall grip in the hand and never had a chance to handle one.

But they’re made by LMF Joe.
USA Made Blade had the scales sometimes.
My knife came with the ironwood already installed.

It's a 945BK-1 kinda day here. I absolutely love the Osborne mini, and I have a line on the full sized one that I am picking up in a week or so... can't wait!

I don't recall if it was size and I do enjoy a bunch of three-finger knives. I think it was how my hand was forced to interface with it due to the groove. I have the same problem with a bunch of Spyderco knives (and the only model I carry like that is one where it was easy to grind it off.)

Got this trusty couple with me today. The O-ring on the opposite thumbstud is alllmost worn all the way through now from opening it so much. I should have gotten a picture of that side. Just about time to switch O-rings.
