EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I went with a stout work knife on this Spartan Saturday. We actually achieved substantial completion on the roof today with those last few courses on the East end finished and the custom copper cap I designed and installed some 40 years ago now back in place. I cut to length and fed my friend the shingles for the top courses and the re-trued/cleaned up copper ridge sections, blind cleats, and splines. We've still got to finish the chimney cap flash, drop the staging, and uncover the skylights, but it feels good that the end's in sight after too many years picking away at it.

Not-so-sneaky Saturday with an old school Socom D/A, Microtech may very well have pioneered the use of a coil spring in a Dual Action auto with these...it's the earliest use I've come across at least😎

Cheers- I agree with you sir! These old Portland made Gerbers are a favorite- can still be found in good condition and the nostalgia factor is pretty killer.

Got a gator coming in a few days to keep building the collection. I have been around the horn collecting and recently decided to re-examine the knives of yesterdays. Quality American pocket knives for the win!

Thanks for the reply
