EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

We had a busy day today, starting with league b-ball admin--mostly emails, texts, and calls trying to get all the raw info together to send our 50 or so teams across 6 divisions with their gym times to the scheduler to set up around 350 regular season games. That was followed by showering, a quick lunch, a trip all the way up-Cape to the cardio doc, our monthly bulk shopping on the way home, a trip to my locally owned sporting goods supplier to pick up my club equipment order, and then to a big-box store for game-day ball bags for my coaches.

There was no time for knife pics in the rain through all of that, so here's a couple from last winter when I was trying to fix my Arcam CD player before relenting and taking it to the repair shop. It's amazing that such an enterprise still exists here in this era of disposable goods.

Been pocketing the EMP Nymble for the past two days.

Little envious of you folks enjoying the cooler weather. We had a stretch of 3-4 days of “sunny and 75” about a week ago…..but now we’re back up to about 90 every afternoon.

23 years ago we started handing out bottled water on Halloween, along with the usual goodies. The water was such a huge hit that kids (and parents) were circling back later in the evening. It’s kinda become our “thing” and every year we get mobbed, not for candy but for the water. We’ve got about 300 bottles on hand and chillin’ for tomorrow night….but we’re starting to think we may need more.

Geez I miss fall weather. Hope everyone has a great Halloween!

That is one of the best benchmade knives they put out. I still can’t figure out why it’s not more popular? Great pic.
I don’t disagree one bit, sir. It’s definitely one I keep coming back to (I think this is the third one I’ve had, one in aluminum, and two with the CF Elite). I personally think the CF Elite scales are just fine, but sure certainly wouldn’t be opposed to having some micarta on it. Alas, these have exactly zero aftermarket options, but it’s definitely a no-nonsense, practical model.

And thanks for the kind words about my amateur photography!
