A little fiber for Friday.

I don’t know why I keep looking for that next great grail thing, when I’ve had this gorgeous Ochs Worx Solarstorm for the longest time. It’s got my favorite modified wharncliffe blade shape, beautiful blade and handle designs, build and F&F are outstanding, nice snappy flipper action, tight but easy to operate frame lock, it’s sleek but solid, it’s everything I keep saying I’m looking for in my ideal higher-end knife. So it's ‘only’ M390, which is still more blade steel than I’ll ever need. I get it in my head that I need another knife, totally forgetting the nice stuff I already have sitting in the drawer.

I love mine too. I could have typed what you said word for word because I feel exactly the same way

That's exactly why I'm taking a break from looking for new ones and just doing longer carries. Carried my Delica for 2 months and now carrying my Native. Sometimes we already found our "ideal" knives they just get lost in the hunt.
