EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Snail trails already.

I thought I'd seen the last of this copper job when the builder picked it up and paid for it last week, but he'd miscalculated how much he wanted to show on the roof (5") and brought everything but the 136 pieces of step flashing back to have the exposure changed to 2 3/4. PIA to mark, cut, re-hem, and re-kick 4 corners, 6 8-foot aprons, and 8 splines working backwards on already-formed pieces.

Had my factory sharp Micarta Grip on me while I waited for my guy to come pick his stuff up again...

Been carrying this for the last week. Don’t know why I like it so much plenty wrong with. Think the blade is ugly, the lockbar tension is way too stiff, lock rock like every ZT I’ve had, the action isn’t that good bc of the lockbar tension and weirdness of the pivot, and lastly the cut out on the lockbar is badly designed too scalloped it tings and viberates every time you open it.1E906B1A-BFD2-4FB0-AE0D-E1C0DE08A1E4.jpeg

Ole Blue... lucky thing I got her in time...
That's a beauty, brother. The milling on those old fluted Ti Millies is so much nicer than the way they do them now. I was so disappointed in mine when I got it that I wrote to the dealer asking if it might be something that snuck through QC. It wasn't and I wrote to Spyderco and asked to pass along my thoughts to EG. He basically blew me off through CS.

I'm hanging onto my newer model until I run into an older one in nice shape. I love my 4 Millies, but the obvious mill marks on the newer fluted version spoil what's otherwise a great knife.
