EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I’ve been seriously slacking with posting daily in this thread lately. Gotta try to rectify that.

Snow is on the ground and the base for sledding is setting in. Fire blazing in the ol’ woodstove…what a nice Friday night.

Carried these all week. It is week 9 with the Sparrow MT and I’m doing a good job of not capturing the scratches I’ve managed to aquire. Lol.

So, I reversed the process yesterday and managed to get some fresh knife pics but never posted. With our games beginning this weekend, I was rushing around most of the afternoon and was out in the evening handing out jerseys and checking our game venue {interior keys, entry fob, needed equipment) before and after during both girls and boys varsity and JV practices.

Anyway, here's yesterday's carry from Day 7 of Shiro-athon and Throwback Thursday, my vintage 100NS Tabargan.

Along with other Russian makers Shirogorov, like Cheburkov, used the sliding bar lock in a few of their early models. I've always thought of this particular knife as sort of a Benchmade on steroids. I still kick myself for selling my first, more upscale and customized Tabargan, but in many ways I like this one better for its functional usability and sorta industrial vibe.
