Haha I love it! Hey you have a great weekend too.Honestly don't remember.... Got like 8 stacked near the knife pile so just handy....I always knock em over too so never sure what's in under my daily pic... Enjoy your weekend..
You gained another Instagram follower today.Very appreciated, whenever i take a pic, it takes a lot of time in post. So, when i saw that my quick and dirty shot from my iphone is more appreciated than my camera, it stings lol. But, i still do like to take an amazing pic with my main camera since i believe it made it more justice to the knife i carried that day. Thanks a lot for the kind words, it means a lot for me![]()
Thank you for the support, hope you’ll like what you see!You gained another Instagram follower today.
Where did you get the lanyard. I've never had one but thinking of one for my new Colibri. KevinUntitled by GaryWGraley, on Flickr

It's one that I designed and tied on myself. For this folder it wraps around one of the standoffs. The bead is a neat and very detailed Viking fellow and the hole size is such that it is quite a pain to thread the paracord through, but through it must goWhere did you get the lanyard. The word "Фриз" in Russian has a second meaning. Decoration on an artillery cannon. It was a nice day here today--temps just touched 40, no real breeze, and partly sunny. After fighting non-golden Golden Hours this week I managed to go with pics of a grey knife on a grey background late this afternoon. Go figure.
Another Cheburkov today as I run through my 7, this one the Frieze, the name for which none here have been able to come up with a satisfactory explanation. I've posited that architecturally the frieze is a decorative board or band that runs along the top edge of a building's facade and this is indeed an edged tool. That seems more than a little bit of a stretch. Perhaps our erudite Russian friend M maxjeg can come up with something more plausible relative to his native tongue.
@Chronovore also has one of these too, and, while he's expressed his appreciation for the knife, he's also mentioned that he wished it had a snappier detent. I can't argue with that assertion, but I would add that mine is still a dependable flipper that comes out even with an easy light switch with no particular attention to technique.

The nicely matching bead I got from the artsy/craftsy site has beaten up the clip pretty good, but, oddly, it doesn't bother me--I almost kinda like it.

The Frieze has been offered in a number of different iterations, but this knurled model really caught my eye and I ordered directly from Мастерская Чебуркова just days before the sanctions hit and it was no longer possible to send funds to Russia. I was more than a bit nervous as I waited for it's arrival, but oddly it hit our shores in just about a week's time before Fedex spent about as much time driving it around Massachusetts while I spent that week on the phone until a CS agent in Arizona finally made the right connections to get it to me.
But yeah, I find the knurled Ti handle finish both easy in hand and easy on the eyes....

Again, as it's Cheburkov week for me, I'll be posting a few more pics over at the Channel.
Good evening. I haven't shown anything here for a long time.

Love that ti Milli with the blacked out blade and hardwareTOO MANY CHOICES! I cant decide today! This is my daily rotation drawer. There is boxes full of other stuff in the basement, going back as far as the early 90s when my obsession started. Lately I have been carrying the GB2. I think I am going to pocket the TRM

The Colibri is next on my to-buy list!Got my CRKT Stylus and Boker Plus kwaiken air mini last week {Knifecenter exclusive}. Both light gents knives. Got the Stylus to replace my CEO which was a huge disappointment to me. Not very sharp, and took a large amount of force to deploy. Very disappointed.
Got my Kancept Colibri yesterday. Super knife in fit and function. I am a long knife kinda guy. All 3 cost me $188.
