Eventually, you develop a finer sense of when to skip the breaker bar, and go right to the smoke wrench. This usually means you've been at it too long.

Yesterday was long and busy with 6 games in our home gym. It was dark by the time I got home after cleaning up and putting everything in order for classes the next day and I never managed any knife pics. Much like early last week I doubled up my carry knife, so yesterday was South African Sunday and today it's iMamba Monday. It just poured all day and is still blowing a gale out there, but I managed a few pics in the spare room on the top floor in front of the window.

I did use it to slay a cardboard box or two to feed into the fire beforehand and as you see didn't quite manage to get all the tape goo off.

This Tactile Dreadeye has been my EDC fixed blade for a few months. Used relatively lightly. It has held up well and stayed sharp.
Enlarge the 2nd pic and checkout the grind lines in the tip section.
