Thanks! That's the WE Seer. I got number 35 out of 420 made in this configuration. They made more of the blue and black versions. You can still find them at dealers.
The hand-rubbed satin blade is ground well and slices wonderfully. The action and lock-up were good from the box, and even better with Skiff bearings installed. While I'm partial to "drop shut" action, the relatively light blade here does need a shake to glide home.
The handle ergonomics are excellent with most of the lines and edges nicely rounded. They were almost perfect except the top of the lock bar was just a little bit sharp. (Most people probably wouldn't even notice but I'm a stickler.) So no, that's not snow. I rounded it off! Now it's honestly the most comfortable frame lock I've ever had in my hand. That little blemish was worth it to me and only reinforces its status as a keeper.![]()
I wonder who decided to make "420" of them?

EDIT - Actually, if the run of 420 was the black and blue version (or blue and gold), I'd have considered getting one...
