I'm always glad to spend a Throwback Thursday with this 710. One of my all-time favorite knives. I've got another, completely stock, in like new condition plus my -1401 with Keyman Ironwood holey scales. I'd buy another in a minute if not for the stupidly high prices I see for them.

This was my last purchase of 2023. I got it at a crazy deal brand new. I've been carrying it all week. It's a fun knife for sure and it will be interesting to hire I feel about it over time.

That's a simplified version of fancier Nessmuk knives made recently by a local knifemaker (he goes by nickname Blackmefisto).

I do indeed have 6 pockets in my pants. It makes it easy to carry a phone, wallet, 357 magnum, reloads (bianci speed strip), 3 knives, flashlight, pen, comb, and AirPods. I didn't do a pocket dump today though, just a pic while waiting for a massage...



Also, I hope you don't mind, but I gifted my VERY skilled massage therapist this David Mary Boomerang in 8670 steel today, with the Sharp & Fiery custom leather sheath that you made for it, as a late Christmas present. He needed a fixed blade for camping this year. Pic taken on my way there...
