EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I think this is is a better choice. I carry the Bradford and the Q together because they can handle pretty much anything. (I could swap in an Ember; but - well - this is habit & it works. Besides, I dyed the scales together so they match at least when clean and in good light). I should revisit the idea of piggybacking the G3 sheath on the Q's

Very nice - one of the few hood things that came from the pandemic.

Morning.

The wife gifts cool T-shirts :)

In other news, we used one chord of wood to heat the cabin for 5 months.

Nice to see your fluted Ti TRM RJM Machine Flipper, Edge. There don't seem to be many of those around. I last carried my MEFP version just about a month ago, and seeing yours might just put mine in pocket again tomorrow.

Today being Ti Tuesday I spent a few minutes deciding between my sterile-handled Vladinox Dama Scout and the newer-to-me full-sized, also sterile-handled SHF done up in in gray Type 2 with all brass/bronze-ano'd hardware and SW S45VN blade. Those two are the same only different, one a super light flipper and the other a way heavier chunk of a thumb stud knife.

Tough day again for pics--gray and raining with an inch of slush on the ground and I almost went flying heading slightly downhill for the wife's Frontier to run some errands around town. I tried a few shots in the sheetmetal shop, but the LED lighting with a little incandescent mixed in is good for working but sucks for pics. These are from the long-leaf counter in the bathroom and are a bit better.

Very nice SHF, especially cool with the USA engraving on a full size. Still in love with my G&C.

One chord? That's all?

We live in a 150+ year old farm house & we heat totally with wood in the Winter. Everything is insulated really well, but we still use 4-5 chords a year. We're in the mountains & there are a lot of wood burners around here. Five chords is about an average Winter around here for all my friends.

You win. …. :) J/K

This is just a small cabin. Good info for the house that we are building, thanks !

Working from home with the P today. I’ll not be carrying a knife for the rest of the week since there are no pockets in a hospital gown so I’ll see you all next week!

That shirt is awesome. Too bad they do not have them for the doggies.

I thought maybe it was, but logs are good insulation, and your stove looks top notch.

I guess we use a lot of wood, but I'm an old geezer, and while I can work out in the cold all day without a problem, when I come in the house I want to be warm. And just being not cold isn't good enough. I want to be warm.:)

Good luck. I hope it's nothing serious & wishing you a speedy recovery. I was in the hospital for four days in August & the SAK Pioneer was there with me.:)

Love the Q......Missed the boat there I did.....Can't argue with the above... Solid choice...... I just like to have 2 folders and I have faith in whatever fixed blade I'm carrying to do any heavy lifting......
