That anodizing(if that is what u did) in blue is so perfect. Matching the blue hardware and u're special clip. Very nice work

Many thanks! It was my first experiment with the higher voltage ano colors. The result was a teal that varies from more blue to quite green sometimes depending on the light and oils from the skin. I gave it a stonewash after the first anodizing, and then hit it again at a lower (bronze) voltage to highlight the stonewashed areas. That even brought in some purples in certain light. Anyway it was rather fun playing around with it and I'm quite pleased with the results. I have a Ti Vic Cadet that I'd like to try to replicate that color on at some point.

The clip was one that I just had laying around and used to experiment with voltage/colors. I liked the results so much that I ended up going with it.

It's amazing..

With those colors and the scuff marks it gives of a kind of jedi/star wars vibe.

This one today, setup for neck carry, I used my sharpening stones to put a small swedge on the spine near the tip, blade is just about 3 1/8"

Carbon fiber fixed blade Friday with the SK09 helping me restock the garage fridge after a Sam’s Club run.

Wish I had some action pics of the blade slicing through the shrink-wrap on two cases of water and a case of Monster.

Yep, ya’ read that right. Cut through the shrink-wrap on THREE beverage cases, back to back to back….with no sharpening or stropping in between. Knife ran like a champ, didn’t complain once.

And people think I don’t work my knives hard. Yeah, right.




We both earned a little rest and relaxation after that.

How durable do you think that PVD coating might be? I always worry if it isn't listed as DLC.
