It’s my first hollow grind and it’s one of the best slicers I’ve ever owned .Everytime i see that beautiful tall hollow grind it makes me want one too but the weight holds me back. I do love cold steels hollow grinds.
They definitely should ve angled the bottom as your pic does, even more .![]()

Ruike P831-SF folder today, just arrived actually, right off the bat I took it apart and ground down the thumb stud access area to allow my thumb to 'access' the thumbstud, otherwise I'll warn you that it is a bit tough to open, and even now with the handle being as narrow, it is hard to make sure your fingers are not pressing onto the lock bar which makes it very difficult to flick open, but, as long as you keep your fingers off, it's fine
