EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

That's gorgeous! Who's the maker?
BOHAWG,
Thanks for your interest. I just got this recently from another BF member and knife maker who goes by Blasted Hill Knives here on BF. It's an Alien (Aliengage) DX2. Discontinued. I think the company is now defunct, not sure. It's approximately 8.5" inches in length and has a 4" cutting edge if you follow the blade profile. Titanium w/red G-10 scale on the presentation side. It's also relatively thin for a knife its size. S35VN blade steel. Stay safe and have a good weekend.

I had a busy day yesterday, getting ready for this weekend's youth b-ball finals. I put away basketballs from a couple of my own club's teams, looking for a couple games in each of the two sizes, then went through all the T-shirt awards for the various grades and titles, then had paperwork and my awards remarks to prepare. I did get some knife pics but never did get around to posting, so I'll put those up now as I may not get around to checking in again over the next couple days. It will be good, though, to get to the end of another season, our 23rd.

Every time I carry this one I mean to clean up the scales, but never seem to get around to it.

and the Jin Jun Lang "Professional Slingshot and Knife 2 in 1 Combination" in a done it myself no sew & no glue sheath, clipped to a splitring on the 09:00/21:00 belt loop. (small splitring and lobster clasp added so the "glas breaker" can come along.)
(actual model name of the thing. I dunno about the "professional" bit, though. 🙄)

Yesterday’s mail call was fantastic. I finally found a version 1 Volunteer Knife and Tool M4. Super stoked.
Also in the mail was this little big Academic friction folder from The_Iron_Joe The_Iron_Joe

Ya, J! It’s a really nice friction folder. He didn’t have any OD green when I ordered…but that will come later.

Both Joe from Iron Joe and Bart from Volunteer Knives are absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Super friendly and professional. I will be buying from them again. No doubt.
