A holdover from Wooden Wednesday that I never got around to posting, a Willem Steenkamp Nomad Jr.
On a side note, we just put our FL home on the market (hoping to downsize here). My wife, who is an exceptional Realtor, made me stash 90% of my knives (in their respective display cases, organizers etc.) in the safe or stacked in a corner of my closet so potential buyers “don’t get freaked out”. Her words, not mine. There’s also a concern for safety. Oddly enough, she never asked if I had any guns lying around the house.
She did, however, allow me to leave one display case on the bedroom dresser. I can also still access most of my fixed blades.
My point? Selling a house sucks, and I’m gonna have a very limited selection of knives to choose from for a while. Lol, no…. I don’t expect anyone to actually care, but if I can’t whine to you guys who’s gonna pretend to listen? No way I’m opening up the whole “knife addiction” thing with my therapist….we’re still working on my acne outbreak of 1982. Got a ways to go before we tackle the serious shit.
And just for the record, with the exception of my edc….all guns are safely locked away.
