EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

There was a big ol' burr on the flat side of my chisel ground Kabar Snody Boss. I wanted to be able to lay it down completely flat against my strop and try to take care of that without scratching the hell out of the flat side with my other strops that have diamond compound on them (I had a bad experience with this a while back on a nice hand satin finish). So I covered this little piece of Bass wood with 3M medical tape (because I ran into a bunch of it for free, and so that I can peel it off when I want to change compounds), works great!

I also just got this little BPS fixed blade that came with a Buck 112 that I bought used. Man, this is a sweet knife! Excellent fit and finish and grind for the price! And the leather sheath is remarkably nice for the price as well.

Over 350 channels to choose from here, and not a daRn thing on worth watching. (IMHO)
I haven't bothered turning on my TV for about a year.
Also WAY too many commercials the last time I tried.
Seemed 10 minutes of commercials for every 4 or 5 minutes of programming. 🙄👎

The Presidio2 auto for a low key day around the house. Wife and kids will be gone for a few hours later on so it’ll just be me and the cat. And we’re both pumped. Every so often , we (the cat and I) will pass each other in the kitchen or on the stairs and give each other a smirk and nod , knowing that the afternoon is ours. IMG_8542.jpeg

Back in the 80s there was a song by KT Oslin called " Do you love me?" It was a woman asking a man about how he loved her...the line that struck a cord with me was. "Do you miss me when Im gone but sometimes wish that Id stay gone just a little bit longer?" I remember that song every time Im looking at an afternoon such as you are.

Haha indeed. Quiet time around here is extremely scarce. So when a day comes along where I get some time to myself (even just a few hours), it’s cause for celebration. And I shall enjoy it. Looking at the calendar , I don’t see another chance for such peace until mid-June. Enjoy your Sunday 😊
