Greetings BF! Haven't posted in a while, as I was down home in Florida all of Feb. Having a hot spot as my main internet, being pulled in all different directions by people and obligations down there, and wanting to spend as much time as possible enjoying the area; I decided to take the opportunity to unplug for the month. I did, however, snap a few knife shots of course.

My carry for the month was the Sebenza, Vic Companion, SE Dragonfly, a small Benchmade Fixed Blade, and the Pacific Salt for on the water.

I also have a Buck 119 down there which functions as my kitchen knife for the most part (apologies to the "do you even julienne bro" grumpy camper guy from the camping knife thread back in Jan ). Seen here turning Super Bowl Sunday's ribs into Monday's carnitas.

Love every time we get to see the "jedi/starwars" sebenza.

I got my Shootout back a few days ago. Crazy thing, a couple months ago the main spring literally shot out the front of the handle with the knife assembled when I clicked it forward. I think that's why they call it the shootout. Just kidding, I really like it. What happened was one of the four body screws got really loose, I noticed this just before the incident happened. I put it away for the day and planned to tighten it when I got home. I don't remember if I forgot, or if I just said "screw it" and figured it'd be fine, but I went click, and it shot out. So anyways, I got the knife back from Benchmade the other day and they put a new one in and fixed it. It was kind of a debacle because autos are illegal here, so I had to choose one of the dealers listed on Benchmade's site for them to send it back to. The shop denied it, and sent it back to BM. Then finally BM decided to just send it direct to me anyway, which I was thankful for. Also have the Knaf Lander, which I haven't been big on, but I just bought a used set of Ti scales for it for $40, so I figured I'd give it a whirl in preparation.

My bird friends are getting pretty dang comfortable with me. As I was taking knife pics for about 30 seconds they started flying up and grabbing seed right next to me. The ones with the biggest balls are these little fellas. They always swoop in first, and then after a bit other birds will start to feel more comfortable.
