EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

In preparation for an evening out, today I’m gently carrying a JDVD Palladium with ironwood inlays and a gorgeous mirrored finish.

Since I can’t post a pic I decided to draw a picture instead. Sure, it took over 3 hours to sketch and shade (not gonna lie, drawing a mirror finish was way tougher than I expected), but it was worth every minute. I mean, I’m not normally one to toot my own horn….but this drawing is gonna blow you guys away!!

Okay, just bear with me here for a second. I’m gonna go take a picture of the drawing and post it. I’ll be right back, can’t wait to hear what you think……

OK, Day 2 back at Imgur. Not happy to have to use that site, but I am happy to still be able to post here without having to delete a sh*tload of my pics. These look a lot like yesterday's as I'm carrying the same knife and back in the woodshed grabbing fuel on another grey, wet, drizzly day. Yuk.

I don't like imgur
I don't like Imgur either, but you can avoid their stupid box by using the desktop site and pasting the BB code right into the text box here.

I almost always use my laptop to post, but you can use your phone while avoiding their crappy app. The path I used to get to the desktop site on my phone a couple years back seems to have closed, but there's a pretty good explanation of the way in here by another of our good members.

...and just to stay on topic....

Thank you all for the kind word's it really means alot. Chazzy you know exactly what I'm going through. Rufus is the first dog that ever just lived in the house with me. The others stayed in the garage and just came in once in a while.

Rufus went everywhere with me, even slept on the bed in the bend of my legs. I built him a folding ramp so he could climb up on the bed. He was diagnosed with diabetes 3 1/2 years ago, the vet didn't think he'd live a week but we showed him! I'd set an alarm and get up at 3am every morning and check his blood sugar. I still wake up a 3 even without the alarm, usually cry myself back to sleep. I thought I was a big tuff guy who hadn't cried in year's, but I lost it over Rufus. After a week I was getting worse and went in to see my doctor. He gave me some med's, but they didn't do very much.

I still have the husky mix dog Jack and probably wouldn't have made it without him. I really didn't want another dog but saw buster in a facebook group and had to have him. Those puppy dog eyes got me.. I'll never stop missing Rufus, but getting Buster has really helped. Again thank you all for the kind word's.
Sorry to hear that my friend 😕. I know how ya feel, I've lost a lot of good friends and loved ones and hadn't really cried since I can remember, but when I lost the passed 2 dogs, I cried like a baby. It happens to all of us. I'm glad you got yourself a nice new pup so quick, he'll keep ya busy. You should go take a ride on the KLR when ya get a minute and the weather's decent, it always helps me feel better!
