EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This one needed a sharpening a couple days ago, much better after that. Goes a long time between sessions with a stone!

After posting back and forth on another thread with a couple friends here about the relative merits of different steels and carrying my 440C TSEK yesterday, I'd mentioned maybe running through consecutive days with some of those with blades that some might considered "lesser" steels. Today's carry is not quite that, but its CPM154 blade is made from the powdered version of the once ubiquitous 154CM, a steel that I continue to like and have a number of examples of amongst my numerous Benchmade knives. This one is the Gerry McGinnis ProLine Valve--a knife which had caught my eye some years back that I was lucky to be able to find reasonably priced on the Exchange in July of 2020.

Guess it’s time to start the rotation again. I think I’ll start at the other end.

This week I’m gonna carry and start to break in a L31 double lugged DP in magnacut.

Today is it’s maiden voyage so it’s needs a bunch of breaking in but I’ll be damned if I’m leaving my daughter any new knives!

Carry it in great health my friend. If you left her one or two, I bet she would break them in

There may or may not be a couple boxes way in the back of the shelf…. ;)
I don’t know why Kettleman Kettleman didn’t keep this for his daughter especially since it has a Insigno blade, but I’m glad he was able to share it with me. Thank you sir for letting it go😉🤫
I am so pleased it found its way to you my friend. In one of those boxes that may or may not be on the shelf there may or may not be one like it…;)
