I've been interested in the Chaparral for years but just decided to pick one up. It's crazy small yet ergonomic. I'll be doing the "small knife challenge" with this and some of my other spyderco knives.

Mother inlaws birthday today. Got her a key lime pie from our favorite local bakery. Carrying the Bulldog stag today.

I didn't post yesterday for no particular reason despite having gotten numerous pics of my Wayfarer 247.

Today's carry is my G10 Rittilkens, which bears little resemblance to an original Griptilian.

These two also bear very little resemblance one to the other save for both having M390 blades and both having attractive backspacers that I like a lot.

I didn't manage to show the "floating" nature of the Olamic's bright anodized spacer above, but the pic below clearly shows Kevin's featuring an integral lanyard attachment which I greatly favor for tying on a tail.

Yeah, I know this is way long and pic heavy, but it is two days' worth, and I'll just mention that while the Ritter would appear to be the more hard-use knife, it's much thinner behind the edge and slicier than the 247, which was not the greatest cutter out of the box. I laid the secondary bevel on the latter way back with a fine edge and it cuts really well now, flying through a bunch of boxes when we returned from our monthly bulk grocery shopping at BJ's yesterday.

I have a line on one with carbon fiber scales. I think I will grab it!

Out of all my Benchmade knives, this has got to be my favorite of the bunch followed by my Bugout with M390 Blade and aluminum scales. Then it's the Griptilian followed by another Bugout with Flytanium Micarta scales.
