EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Got cleaned up and swapped yet again. I got word of a pop-up taco truck just a few minutes from the house, and they had some of the best I've ever had. Got Ribeye, NY Strip, and Wagyu Skirt tacos; all with griddle crisped cheese and bone marrow added 😋. Then took the pup for a walk in the park across the street because he's finally old enough, and finally relaxed on the porch

sorry this became an essay, I try not to do that but had to this time

Haven’t been posting on any knife forums but got too excited today

I usually carry a small crk of some sort, been doing that for years… the tanto 31 is what I’ve been using for a couple months now…

But…

I’ve just about lost my mind with this arno bernard rinkhals that arrived yesterday

I have had a few rinkhals before, a couple years ago, and I thought it was an aweome knife but ultimately sold them when i continued to carry crks

I’m not sure if I
A) forgot how good it was
B) if it feels beefier with the full titanium no inlays, or
C) if they’ve just tweaked their manufacturing process to perfection,
but WOW! This knife is perfect

The cf knife art insingo arrived a week ago and i was in love with it, but now i have this new rinkhals the crk is going into the backup box…

Most excited I’ve been about a knife for a long time and it’s weird when I’ve had it before… i thought I was just buying it out of boredom but man! After doing this for so long it’s hard to get excited, it’s just another knife, but this is making me feel like I used to when i was new to nice knives

I really haven't found my BF rhythm yet after taking a week-plus off with our time up north, so I'm posting here late for the last two days. Aside from other tasks since returning, I've spent some time in the wood shop the last couple days re-glazing a wooden sash from our upstairs storage/work room. Yesterday I had the new CruCarta M2 with me getting all the old putty out and cleaning up the glass rabbet...

...and after a day with a new version of a modern classic I grabbed the classic version of another modern for a work knife, these pics taken heading back to the house after bedding and installing the two new panes.

Benchmade and Victorinox. Wasn't feeling great this morning but I forced myself up and out and man I'm glad I did because it's a glorious PNW day. Dropped by the local coffee shop for some fuel (black), hit the fitness park, then the trail up to the lookout, spent a half hour just soaking the rays and watching Rainier, then back to the fitness park, then to check up on the fruit trees, then back home for another 3 sets of push/pull-ups, and done just in time to break fast at 12:30. Switching to the K390 Stretch for the rest of the day, where it will accompany my other cutting tools labeled DeWalt and Makita for some long overdue projects that were waiting for the weather to turn for the better.
