The 943 helping me lay off the carbs ...

View attachment 924358
I lost 25 lbs four years ago laying off the carbs. After my hip went south on me last fall, through my surgery this spring, and into my rehab, I managed to put over 10 back on, peaking with five more through Memorial Day Weekend--just too many family gatherings and big meals to resist. I've managed to peel back that 5 since, but I'm wondering, will carrying my 943 really help?

Fits nicely between the prongs of a fork ! :D

I've dropped 18 with 7 more to go as a goal. I use to run in the evening and felt great. That was 10 years ago. I'm 46 now and feeling a bit lazy in life. I've since developed rheumatoid arthritis in my right hip also. Feels a bit better with a few less pound on it and Doc says exercise works wonders. So I'm trying to slowly loose a few pounds and get back to running again. We'll see ...

* Edit : ... I'm from Louisiana and yes we like our food and gatherings ! So I feel your pain. There's a reason we're one of the ... if not the unhealthiest sate ! :(

It really is! I stumbled on the original Abyss after it was out of production. When I found out about the preorder for the Abyss II, I jumped on it. Of course, saving a few hundred bucks by ordering in advance didn't hurt!

Isnt this the greatest site to unite/connect like minded hobbyist & knife&edc enthusiasts!!
Glad I joined,
Nice to be exchanging notes,
Thanx Sir!
Glad to be of some help. I've been part of several "EDC" forums but found the content slowly moving away from gear. So I finally took the plunge here and decided to start posting. Mostly, I lurk because there is so much to see and learn here but that's why I like it!
