EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Hope ya'll are having a good day. I have a new (used) Inkosi and a new diamond benchstone coming here within the week, so I'm pretty stoked about that and decided to carry the small 21 micarta while doing some yard chores. Also, this is the Aurora Borealis from friday night. We never ever get the Northern Lights down here, so it was pretty cool. It didn't look like it does in the photo though, I wish it did. It was very subdued, however the phone camera makes it look pretty dang mystical.

I've been carrying PM2's and Millies the last full week in the wake of the arrival of my CruCarta M2 last Monday, so I figured to finish things off this morning with my two Knifeworks M1's (is that a thing now?) making this a Military Monday Mania finale. The only trouble was that I've had a couple long-term dissatisfactions with the CF/framelock S90V's action, so I set about correcting its too stiff detent and too sharp-edged Spydie hole which had made both opening and closing awkward and somewhat unpleasant despite my general appreciation of the knife. I broke it down all the way to removing the lock-interface/over-travel insert and bent some of the tension out of the lockbar, cleaned, interior polished the knife while at it, and eased the Spydie hole's edge with some fine grit sandpaper. I discovered a little lock stick when reassembled so I graphited the lock ramp with a pencil and the knife flicks out and closes like a dream now.

Here's the two for today sitting down at the kitchen table afterwards for our usual daily staying-at-home brunch after cleaning up all my knife-tweaking chaos...

...and a few more outdoor pics after J and I finished up the supports for her outdoor grow lights. We get far too much shade for a successful vegetable garden as we and our neighbors have way too many tall and healthy oak trees.

Took the Para 3 for another trip to the beach after opening a few packages. Ordered some Carbon fiber screens for the air ducts on the fenders of the Type R since it was wide open and the sticky tires like to fling rocks. Then I’ll use the para 3 now that I’m home to open a incoming 😆

I just returned from Tennessee a week ago. I usually go down every couple of months. A phone call yesterday evening from my friend/neighbor/caretaker has necessitated a return trip. Made it to Bowling Green Kentucky tonight. Hotel snack:

Small scotch not pictured :)🍸
