EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Went on my first mini road trip in the Type R to a Honda car show about 120 ish miles round trip. First ride on the highway averaged 28 mpg and that was with a 45 minute delay bumper to bumper traffic due to an accident 😳 on the way back . Not bad and actually pretty impressed with a capable top speed of over 170 mph and a modest but respectable 320hp stock configuration . Good job honda for such a well rounded track capable car 👊🏻👍🏻
Anyway great car show and took the Koenig today for the maiden adventure 😆

I got looking at my 3 KC Pakkawood HAP40/SUS410 knives today, thinking that I miss having lanyards on them. I love their appearance, they're great cutters, their scales have developed a nice sheen from handling, and the action has broken in nicely on all three--Police, Endura, and Delica. I fooled around with my FRN Endura that wears a Lynch clip and figured out a way to tie a tail through the hole that's pretty stable and not cumbersome, but was checking out the P-wood Endura and see that it's all set up to drill through both scales as it has the appropriate half-circle relief through the edge of the backspacer and a hole through each of the two liners that lines up with with the hole in the stock clip where the lanyard goes through the FRN model. I'm tempted to set it up clamped in the drill press starting with a thin pilot hole but am more than a little nervous about blowing out a scale or otherwise f'ing up a favorite knife.

In the meantime, I carried the Endura today and am enjoying it while trying not to get too angsty about whether to give this idea a try or not. 🤔
