This pac salt has been my beach blade. Its been in the ocean swimming a couple years ago and I did notice a little change to the blade finish then like maybe some dulling?, but no corrosion or rust that I could see. This trip it was used to cut up bait out on a pier. When i took it out initially to bring along, I noticed the little spots towards the tip but maybe they just need cleaned off I'm not sure. usually I just rinse it out/off with water and my hand and then shake it or towel dry. If I have compressed air I’ll blow it out but did not this last trip. After a day or so I opened and closed the blade looking for rust in the pivot area and did not notice anything so id say LC200N is good to go for saltwater!Do you have a little patina on that LC200N, or is that just some smudges and the lighting? Sweet Salt!
Love the look of that Junior! I haven't seen one of those before, now I gotta track one down!A couple of Spyderco blades keeping me company on the mill today! I know the Phoenix was recently brought back for a sprint... fingers crossed for another run of the Junior.
