That's a good idea! On seeing if I can find any deals on older H1 Salt models. I've always wanted to try a serrated H1 knife, as I've always heard that they cut for quite a long time.
I have a few in H1 as well in plain edge and serrated and take an older gen 3 style pac salt PE when I go offshore fishing. Both steels work great as far as being rust proof and either is fully capable in my saltwater experiences. If FFG and more edge retention is desired, then LC200N is the way to go. (iirc H1 models don't offer FFG). My H1 pac salts were indeed bargains in comparison and ya cant go wrong with either imo. Haven’t tried any H2 yet. That's good to hear man, thanks for the insight! Yeah, probably one of the best fishing folders you can get right there. I've been meaning to get me a "rust proof" folder for a while now, but haven't sprung yet. So many options now days. I'll choose one soon though. That's good to hear man, thanks for the insight! Yeah, probably one of the best fishing folders you can get right there. H1 is sooo yesterday ...but still works for me . Especially the serrated salt types .
Maybe bargains to be had in old H1 versions ?
Love my MK3, it has one of the smoothest actions in the market!
It is extremely smooth — really makes me appreciate PB washers when it’s done right!Love my MK3, it has one of the smoothest actions in the market!
