EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

How is the pull on yours? Mine is impossibly strong, and had broken fingernails before opening.

If that is the guardians in iron wood, I bet its pretty stiff.

Mine is hard as hell as well, but of the 4 a.wright lamb foots I own it's the most well made if u look away from the super hard pull.

Dr. Deaf. Take a hit of this and you can't hear sh*t for the rest of the day! (As Katt Williams might say)This is the Wingman EDC version. Very cool knife, it runs on loose ceramic bearings and uses the Lee Williams Kickstop mechanism. I got it some time back and the Dr. Death design was always one of my grails. I will say though, the detent is extremely hard. One of these days I'll need to do some fandangling and tweaking in order to get it just where I want. The Kickstop mechanism is so cool though, I think that it should be used much more widely by knife companies. My first knife that had it was the Kershaw OD-1 over a decade ago, and I've always loved it, not sure why the Kickstop never really took off as much as I thought it would.

Awesome knife……but your hitchhiking technique probably needs a few minor adjustments.

Try the same pose….but stand in the road facing the oncoming traffic. I’ve found folks are a lot more apt to stop.

Heck, sometimes they’ll even jump out and just let ya’ borrow their car.

But seriously, I dig the Mini Malice in bronze.
I have found that folks are less likely to pick you up if you are sticking a knife out instead of your thumb....

Such a slick design

It is, but TPK EDC can't replace it till the end of the year, and when I spoke to them I didn't ask them how long they wanted me to wait before giving me something else or a refund. I'l check in with them next week, after it's been missing a month.

So TPK took care of me regarding my lost knife, after Lucy at the local post office says the Mid-size Wharnie that was out for delivery on May 4th is lost forever. The post office missed getting it there during business hours that Saturday, and on the next business day there was a huge wind storm that cut power to thousands of homes, the zoo, and the post office. There was measured 96mph wind at airport, and 101mph wind on Cheyenne Mountain in my neighborhood. Then it never made it out for re-delivery, so it's been missing for a month.

They offered me a replacement knife with an in-stock like-sized model, a Mid-size Camper in Nitro-V to choose from; since they wont have any Magnacut mid-size Wharnie again till the end of the year at the earliest. At my request they agreed to let me upgrade my order to a more expensive Large (8" total 3.5" blade) Wharnie in Cruwear, for a modest up-charge.

That's what I went for since I already have THREE Mid-size Raptors in Magnacut. They sent me an invoice this AM, and I paid with an upgrade to insurance AND signature required, just in case.

They still have ONE large Wharnie in Cruwear left on their website for sale!

Sucks the one you wanted was "lost". Looking forward to photos of the replacement.
Glad they worked with you on the upgrade
